PHYSICAL REHABILITATION
Physical Rehabilitation is a term that is used to cover all aspects of rehabilitation. Prevention Physical Therapy provides physical therapy services to aid in your personal injury recovery. MODALITIES UTILIZED
Therapeutic modalities are instruments or techniques that assist our therapists in providing the quality of care you deserve. These modalities consist of electrical stimulation units, TENS units, biofeedback units, ultrasound, cryo-therapy, and traction. Each one of these modalities is discussed further in the "Therapy Approaches" menu choice to your left. The use of these modalities is to improve the healing time and efficiency of your therapy visits. FITNESS PROGRAMS
Fitness is a crucial part in all our lives no matter what age we are. Here at Prevention Physical Therapy we develop individualized fitness programs aimed at increasing physical fitness, developing healthy lifestyle habits, and decreasing risks associated with heart and lung diseases. The following is the process which you will undergo during a fitness consultation:

PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal TrainingPersonal training is a field in which injuries unfortunately occur often secondary to in-experienced or under educated trainers. Many of you may have needed physical therapy rehabilitation in order to fix these injuries. Some training programs consist of a weekend course in order to obtain certification. Here at Prevention Physical Therapy, Physical Therapists with a minimum of 6 years of schooling, and obtainment of master's degrees create goals customized for you.

Our skills are specialized into body mechanics and your body's physiology. The body's physiology and how it interacts with the environment is crucial to understand in developing a training program focused on increasing endurance, strength, and decreasing weight & fatigue.

Physical therapists at Prevention Physical Therapy will devise a program complete with nutritional, cardiovascular, strength, and lifestyle goals. These goals will require your input, after all, it is your body and your desire to help it which drives the personal training process.

HOME HEALTH CARE
Home health care is a crucial part to our practice hear at Prevention Physical Therapy. Many of you have been in automobile accidents or temporarily lost the ability to drive. We understand that bringing the therapist to you is important and allows for you to undergo quality rehabilitation at your home.

We know that not all of our equipment can be transported to you, but we will be able to provide the highest rehabilitation care through combinations of home health and office visits.
