This section of the Prevention Physical Therapy website is here to give you, the reader, tips on a healthy lifestyle. These tips will also have occasional links to outside websites to better inform you on certain rehabilitation programs. Please read below to begin your walk to a healthy lifestyle.

Month Activity

 

This tip is on educating the public on increasing their physical fitness levels.

● Consider beginning an exercise program consisting of walking, running, or biking.

● Consult with your local physical therapist concerning your fitness and Body Mass Index (BMI).

● Watch your diet for a day. Record the total amount of calories, fat, protein, and carbohydrates that you take in. Have a dietician review this diet with you.
